Arts@Trinity presents a concert with St. Peter's Singers and the soloists of the National Festival Orchestra under the direction of Simon Lindley.
This year marks 290 years since Holy Trinity Church was consecrated and Handel's music was first performed in the building. At the same time it is the 290th anniversary of the coronation of King George II and Queen Caroline for which Handel had been commissiond to write the music.
This concert will feature the "Coronation Anthems" alongside "Anthem of the Peace" (or "Foundling Hospital Anthem").
Doors will open half an hour before concert begin (3.30pm)

For the last ten years Arts@Trinity has operated successfully as a community arts centre within Holy Trinity Church. It regularly hosts a range of arts events from concerts to exhibitions. It has a strong community ethos in offering a space for young, new and aspiring artists, musicians and actors to perform, and community groups to meet and run workshops particularly for the young and disadvantaged.
